SITA names Fusion PM Partner in Hokkaido

TOKYO, Japan – Jan. 25, 2010 –SITA, the world's leading specialist in air transport communications and information technology (IT) solution, and SkyParty Inc., a leading consultant to the Japanese Ministry of Transportation including Aviation, today selected Fusion Systems as their Project Management and Systems Implementation partner for a key roll-out within Sapporo's new international terminal at the New Chitose Airport today.

The project will cover significant aspects of the New Chitose Airport systems architecture and involve teams from Hokkaido, Tokyo and SITA's overseas operations. The new international terminal will open on March 26, 2010 and will serve as a gate way to Asia, Eastern Europe and Southern Pacific regions. The project expects to deliver Phase 1 components prior to the Japanese Golden Week travel period beginning April 29, 2010.
